Marketing infrastructure for Nigerian companies

Sprinta builds marketing infrastructure for Nigerian companies, with a team on the ground in Lagos, naira invoicing, local payment rails and systems built for how buying actually happens here.

What marketing in Nigeria actually looks like

Nigeria is where Sprinta is based, and it is the market we know at the level of detail that only comes from operating in it. That matters because most marketing advice imported into Nigeria assumes conditions that do not hold: reliable card payments, stable pricing, buyers who complete a form instead of sending a WhatsApp message, and marketing budgets denominated in a currency that holds its value.

The infrastructure problem here is sharper than elsewhere. Companies invest in marketing activity while the underlying system stays informal, so leads live in phone contacts, quotes go out over chat, and nobody can reconstruct how a closed deal actually started. When the naira moves and budgets tighten, the first thing questioned is marketing, and there is no evidence to defend it with.

We build the same infrastructure here that we build anywhere, adapted to the real conditions: capture that includes the channels Nigerians actually use, CRM discipline that survives a sales team working from their phones, pricing and reporting that handle currency movement honestly, and payment integrations that work on local rails.

Nigerian compliance we build around

Marketing systems that ignore local rules become expensive later. These are built into what we deliver rather than added when something goes wrong.

  • The Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 and the NDPC framework, including lawful basis, data subject rights and the registration obligations that apply to many data controllers.
  • Consent capture that works across the channels used here, including WhatsApp and SMS, rather than assuming everything starts with a web form.
  • Data residency and cross-border transfer questions, which come up as soon as the CRM or email platform is hosted abroad.
  • Local payment rails and reconciliation, so marketing-attributed revenue can actually be tied back to transactions.

We build systems that respect these rules. We are not a law firm, and where you need formal legal advice we will tell you.

Working with Sprinta from Nigeria

Where in Nigeria are you based?

Lagos, at 1 Alh. BK Lawal Close, Magodo Phase 1. Most work is remote, and for Lagos clients we meet in person when it moves things along faster than a call would.

Do you invoice in naira?

Yes, in naira by local transfer, or in USD where a client prefers. For multi-month engagements we agree up front how currency movement is handled, because pretending it will not happen helps nobody.

Do you work with Nigerian companies selling abroad?

Frequently, and it is work we are well placed for, because we run marketing infrastructure in the US and UK as well. The gap is usually credibility architecture: the same offer needs different proof to convert a buyer in Chicago than one in Lekki.

Can you work with WhatsApp as a real marketing channel?

Yes, and any Nigerian marketing system that ignores it is describing a market that does not exist. We build WhatsApp into capture, qualification and follow-up as a tracked channel with the same discipline as email, rather than leaving it as an untracked side conversation.
